Ongoing activities with Knowledge Educators on Wednesday afternoons. Activities vary depending on parent/student selection and what is being offered by the ACE team. This list includes but not limited to:
Details
- Wild and Creative Art – Use of artistic projects with acrylic, watercolor, pens, and tie-dye. This activity is by pre-registration only.
- Yoga/Dance Class – Creative movement in a combination of dance, yoga, and improvisation.
- Woodworking – Creating objects out of wood. Projects change based on participation and request.
- Tutoring – Assistance in math, reading, literacy, and science. Tutoring can help k-12 upon request.
- Fieldtrips – Get out and about in our counties, experience what is around “where we live”. Trips are based on interest and can be during week or weekends.
- Podcasting
- Story Writing/Telling
- Arts/Crafts – Get creative and use materials to make art. This includes beads, charcoal, pencil, origami, and much more.
- Basic Cooking and/or Canning – Cooking classes for beginners and moderate level(s).
- Sewing Classes – Beginner classes using sewing machines and materials. Materials and machines provided. This class is for 10 years and up.
- Music Lessons – Solo or small group classes learning guitar and other various instruments.
